If my vehicle’s frame is damaged, can it be saved and repaired?
In many cases, it is possible to repair a vehicle’s frame if it’s been damaged in a collision. We use Car-O-Liner frame-straightening equipment and premium-quality welders to repair unibody frames and sections. Whenever possible, we’ll bring your vehicle back into alignment, restoring the handling and ride that it had before its collision. On the other hand, if the frame is damaged to the point where it cannot be restored to a safe condition, we’ll be straightforward with you about that too.
How long will my vehicle’s repairs take?
After your Audatex estimate from Westway, we’ll be able to give you a specific time-frame for the necessary repairs. If we later find that additional work is needed, we’ll update you immediately and let you know if the project will take longer than first estimated.
Will used parts be used on my vehicle?
Our auto body repair estimates are done using OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts. However, some auto insurance policies will pay for only used or “aftermarket” parts. Check your insurance policy or ask your insurance agent if you have any questions. Westway can use aftermarket parts, but they will be thoroughly inspected here for their quality and fit.
Can I get a rental car from Westway while my car is being worked on?
Yes, Westway has arrangements with several rental car agencies near our shop, and they provide pick-up and drop-off service for customers at our facility.
Can you match my vehicle’s exact paint color?
Yes. Westway uses a state-of-the-art PPG paint mixing system that makes customized, highly exact colors and finishes. This system will match any color on any vehicle of any model, make, and year.
Is there a warranty on Westway’s auto body repairs?
Yes, the labor performed by Westway Auto Body is guaran2eed against any defect in workmanship for as long as you own your vehicle. Westway guarantees that for as long as you own your vehicle, Westway will, at its expense, correct or repair any defects which are attributable to faulty workmanship in the repair stated on the repair invoice, unless caused by damage resulting from unreasonable use, improper maintenance or care of the vehicle.
This guarantee covers labor only and does not apply to parts, material or equipment which may be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty.
How will I know when my vehicle is done?
At Westway, we make it a point to keep you updated on the status of your vehicle. We contact you at every important step in the repair process, including the moment when your vehicle’s repairs are complete.
